Preserving Tradition, Embracing Progress:
A Family Company's Mission to Provide Fresh, Healthy Food for All.
The DiNovo family story starts with humble beginnings, dating back to the early 1900s when Sam DiNovo, an immigrant from Italy, started selling produce in Central Ohio. Today, Sam's descendants have carried on his legacy. DNO Produce was founded in 1989 by Tony DiNovo, the fourth generation of the DiNovo family. The business has grown to employ over 240 people and continues to be a leading provider of bulk and fresh-cut produce in sixteen states.
The company is currently led by President Alex DiNovo, making the fifth generation. As a father of seven, Alex's leadership has been marked by ensuring the company's strategic direction ensures children, regardless of income level or zip code have early exposure to fresh produce, impacting their health and well-being now and in the future.
