Meet Erika: Our November Brocc Star

Join us in congratulating Erika Deem on receiving November’s Brocc’ Star Award!

Erika joined DNO’s Human Resources team in March 2021, and has made a big difference for our team. Erika has taken on employee engagement initiatives such as coordinating the improvements to our common spaces, planning employee appreciation events, and coordinating annual trainings. 

Her nominator said, "Erika is customer obsessed because she treats our associates as her customer. When they go to her with a question or issue, she jumps into action to answer the question, or find the answer to their question and help solve their issue(s). She is always thinking of ways to boost morale by suggesting a free lunch, treat bags or other options to keep our associates engaged and feeling appreciated."

Erika became interested in Human Resources because she saw the unique way that the department helps solve problems in the workplace. Her goal at DNO is to provide a way for every associate to feel safe, valued, and supported.

Outside of work, Erika enjoys reading, drawing, playing with her cats, and spending time with her partner and his children. She recently introduced him to Game of Thrones and cannot wait to see his reaction to the Red Wedding.
