Meet Chad: Our December Brocc Star

Join us in congratulating Chad Smith on receiving December’s Brocc’ Star Award!

Chad joined DNO’s Maintenance team in February 2022, and has been an essential member of our team since. Since he joined the DNO family, Chad has helped improve the department and the company by creating new shutdown procedures and improving communication between production, maintenance, and sanitation.

Chad’s interest in industrial maintenance sparked when he learned that he thrived while solving problems, and that he was a very hands-on person when it came to learning new things.

When there is an issue with a machine or complicated piece of equipment, Chad is one of the first people to step in and try to fix the issue at hand.

Chad‘s level of experience in industrial maintenance has taught him to recognize an issue or problem - just by hearing specific sounds! He is truly a man of many talents.

To him, the most important aspect of his job is ensuring that DNO associates are safe. He and the rest of the maintenance team spend time checking nuts, bolts, and much more to ensure our workspaces offer the utmost safety.

During his time here, Chad has already seen improvements in the department and the company with the creation of new shutdown procedures and improved communication between production, maintenance, and sanitation.

Outside of work, Chad enjoys drawing and graphic design, and playing PC games.
