Meet “Tubbs”: Our September Brocc' Star

Congratulations to James Tubbs, our September Brocc Star! “Tubbs,” as he’s known around here, has worked with DNO Produce for nearly eight years. He was originally interested in working with us because we were able to offer him a position where he would be home every night.

While Tubbs may be considered a local driver, he doesn't stay in Columbus. He travels to Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania in addition to various Ohio cities. 

“James Tubbs has worked for the company for 7 years and has seen us through a lot of changes,” explains HR Manager Becky Mosley. “He has held steadfast in making sure to put the customer first and accommodate them whenever possible and to the best of his ability. Tubbs greets everyone with a smile on his face and chipper tone to his voice.”

Tubbs says his favorite part of working here are his coworkers both in and out of the transportation department. He's seen many changes to the company and staff during his time here. One thing that he is appreciative of is the more efficient way that routes are planned and run compared to when he started. 

When Tubbs isn’t on the road, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He has four children and seven grandchildren. He likes to collect baseball and football cards and WWE action figures, and has a creative streak that he expresses through drawing and painting.
