Meet Guillermo: Our October Brocc' Star

Congratulations to Guillermo Santiago, our October Brocc’ Star! Guillermo has been with the DNO Produce team for over 15 years and is currently our dedicated first-shift production supervisor.

Guillermo has been an integral part of our DNO community since he started working as a processor back in 2007. When he joined us, our facility was much smaller, and Guillermo has been an important part in growing our company to where it is today.

Fun fact: Guillermo even remembers working with a team of only about ten people and  doing all the fresh-cut processing by hand! He knew that he wanted to learn more and grow his career with DNO, so he began taking on other duties within the company. Many of those responsibilities are now designated to new departments. Guillermo is truly a man of many talents!

“Guillermo has been a big part of the DNO team, and we have seen him grow immensely as a leader. We thank him for his continued efforts to lead his team and move the company forward” says Alex DiNovo, President and Chief Operating Officer of DNO.

Guillermo enjoys working with his team and helping new team members grow into their roles at the company. His advice for new associates is to always be open-minded and to try to learn new things. Guillermo believes that DNO is a place where employees can develop meaningful and long-term careers, and he wants to help guide his associates whenever he can. He considers his coworkers here at DNO to be like his family and loves the sense of community that he is a part of.

In his free time, Guillermo enjoys experiencing nature and exploring parks with his friends. He particularly enjoys playing soccer and other sports.
