Kevin Roman Rodriguez started at DNO in April of 2021. Though he started as a temporary employee, it became apparent that he would be an impact player on our team, and he was converted to a full-time team member in July of the same year.

Kevin has taken on new responsibilities as his career has progressed here at DNO. Originally, he was responsible for transporting whole produce from our coolers to the fresh-cut processing area and organizing the produce in the coolers according to the FIFO (first-in, first-out) method. Since then, Kevin has been training in inventory management and consumption, which involves tracking the product that goes from our stock to the fresh-cut department.

Warehouse Operations Manager Rossi Clark said, “Kevin has been a great asset to our warehouse team since day 1. He understands both sides of the operation and has an important role with our daily inventory counts between both buildings. He strives to learn something new every day, and that has led to a specialized role that he has carved out for himself within our warehouse operation. His continuous growth and attention to detail will lead to big things for Kevin's future at DNO!”

Originally from Puerto Rico, Kevin came to the continental United States in 2004 and has lived in Ohio for almost two years now. In his spare time, he enjoys reading about global events, working on home improvement projects, and spending time with his girlfriend, her family, and her Chihuahua mix, Peanut, with whom he had an immediate connection.

Kevin believes that communication is the key to success and that DNO does a good job of sharing relevant information between departments and working together. He feels that we have an important mission in providing healthy food for children and adults across the country and that if we all work together, we can accomplish great things.
